The Sámi Bridge, Sámi šaldi, leads from Utsjoki village to Norway, accross the River Teno. The bridge is 300 metres long and it was opened in 1993.
The bridge is the end of 1300 kilometers long Main Road 4, starting all the way from Helsinki. A walk on the bridge offers beautiful views at the Teno River Valley. The Finnish Norwegian border crosses in the middle of the bridge, where you can stand in two countries at the same time.
