Karigasniemi
Karigasniemi is located in the heart of Sámi land, at the crossroads of three languages and cultures: Finnish, Sámi, and Norwegian. Near the village, the Inari River and Karasjoki River merge into the majestic Teno River. The Karigasniemi area offers fantastic opportunities for wilderness and fly fishing. The nearby Pais and Muotka Fells, as well as the Kevo Nature Reserve, provide peace and stunning scenery.
Utsjoki
The landmarks of the Utsjoki village include the Sámi Bridge and Ailigas Fell. The village meeting house, Giisa, is a gathering place where locals and visitors alike can come together around the same table. The culturally and historically significant church huts by Lake Mantojärvi are an exceptionally fine place to visit.
Nuorgam
As the northernmost village in the European Union, Nuorgam attracts visitors with its authenticity. Located right on the Norwegian border, Nuorgam is naturally international, with frequent crossings between the two sides. The Pulmankijärvi area and the Kaldoaivi Wilderness offer landscapes that are truly unique.
