Travel Utsjoki

Travel Utsjoki is a travel company owned by a Sámi reindeer herder and his family. We provide year-round Arctic experiences for travellers in Utsjoki, in the Northernmost corner of Finnish Lapland, in the indigenous Sámi homelands. With us, you can experience the Arctic Lapland in a 100 % safe and authentic way, in the most unique and beautiful setting, away from the crowds. In winter, we welcome you to experience the Arctic Tundra by snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice-fishing and feeding our reindeer. Our private and small group Northern Lights tours are available from mid-September to end of March. In summer and fall, join our guided hikes to admire the deep-carved river valleys, blooming forests and open fell landscapes with the purest air and water in the world. With us, you can meet real racing huskies year-round and experience husky sledding with them, visit the Fjords by the Arctic Ocean and gain a deeper understanding of Sámi reindeer herding and local history. The core value of our business is sustainability, and we aim at being proactive in enhancing social and environmental wellbeing locally and globally.
