Driving on Ailikkaantie requires a permit, which can be purchased at Kylätalo Giisá or by using a QR code at the sign located at the start of Ailikkaantie, following the provided instructions. If you choose to walk to Áilegas fell, you can park your car at the pull-off located at the intersection of Nuorgamintie and Ailikkaantie (address: Ailikkaantie 2, coordinates: N69°54’48.2″, E27°05’07.3″). There is a reindeer fence gate on the road, which must be closed after passing through.
